I don’t think that we can foil God’s plans except for ourselves. Free will and all, isn’t sin our decision to not cooperate in God’s plan of love? I will leave it to someone else to determine the differences between being distracted from God’s plan ( venial sin? ) or an outright denial or rejection of God’s love ( mortal sin? ). And I know if you are so inclined, it might be a more complex issue. The bottom line here is that like the Mountie always gets his man ( 😉) , God plan is always going to be fulfilled.
Our in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us to the time of trial,
but rescue us from the evil one.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us to the time of trial,
but rescue us from the evil one.
